    Hi

    I have quite about 10 sites running Enfold and trying to upgrade from 4.7.6.3 to 4.7.6.4

    I usually use WP remote to update plugins and Themes and it usually works fine

    however I just tried to use it on a site and it gave an error

    so I went direct to WP admin and tried it there – it said it was updating – hang for 5 mins or so and then when came back it was still not updated

    any suggestions?

    Hi Rikard

    I have managed to update all but one using WP Remote – for some reason the app was saying it had failed when it had actually updated

    however

    this site https://dharmacottageyoga.com.au did fail and I then tried to update via WP admin as well – it seems to go into maintenance mode and then just stall – when refreshed (eventually) it showed that it had not updated

    Hi,

    Thanks for that. I tried updating and it seems to be hanging on my end as well, it seems stuck in maintenance mode. If it’s still in maintenance mode when you check the site, then please remove the .maintenance file in the root folder of your WordPress installation. We can do it for you if you share FTP login details as well.

    Are we allowed to disable plugins and try to update the theme after that to see if that works better?

    don’t worry for now – I will try to do a manual FTP upload of the newest version and see if that fixes it

    maintienance mode has gone now
