Hello,
I’ve noticed ever since the latest WordPress update, I am getting this in the dashboard ‘The authorization header is missing. -The Authorisation header comes from the third-party applications you approve. Without it, those apps cannot connect to your site.’
Not sure how it went missing and what happened. I was told I need some coding in the theme settings->header.php but I am not sure how to fix this.
Does anyone know the fix for this?
Thanks in advance.
BR,
MIke
Hey Mike,
Thank you for the inquiry.
A plugin or a script is probably sending an http request without proper authorization value or without the correct configuration. Where exactly are you getting this issue? Please provide a screenshot of the warning. To check if one of the plugins is creating the request, try to deactivate them temporarily, then check if the warning goes away.
Best regards,
Ismael
Hey Ismael,
I’m getting it in Tools>Site Health on WP Dashboard.
I’ve tried disabling all plugins and clearing the cache and it doesn’t go away…If it was a plugin fault if I disable it, shouldn’t it go away? Also, why would this suddenly pop up after the latest WordPress update? :/
I’ve put the link to the issue in private.
How can I fix this?
KR,
Mike
