Hello – I am trying to eliminate the listing of usernames from blog posts. I have removed them from being visible on the front end, however, it is still appearing somewhere in the coding as Facebook is pulling it out in link previews.
I’m running Enfold – 4.1.2; WordPress Core – 4.9.1

there are several options. 1 a plugin or two editing a function.

Hello, @Rikard It appears so – I think Facebook’s cache is still pulling from the old coding, but going through code inspection there is no longer listing of the username. I utilized @digitalEssence’s suggested free plug-in link at http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-themes/how-to-remove-author-name-from-wordpress-posts/
