I can’t get the post author and date to appear on my posts, despite having checked the “check to display” boxes in Blog Meta Elements on the Enfold Theme Options Blog Layout page.
I would ideally like these to appear at the top of the post, under the title.
Thanks

October 3, 2016 at 7:24 am #694462Hi,
Sorry for the late reply. I see that you have used the Layout Builder to create your post and the info you want on there won’t be included automatically if that is the case. You could try saving the post while the default editor is active though, that should add the element you are looking for.

RikardOctober 3, 2016 at 2:19 pm #694622Unfortunately that doesn’t work – it does add the author and date elements, but the rest of the post then disappears.
Instead I have copied it out and added it manually.
I think it’s important to have this option available in the layout builder, as many people are having their work plagiarised, sometimes on a regular basis, even when copyright warnings are added. Adding the name of the author and publishing date shows that this post is the original one, not one that was copied by a writer who stole your work to make money on Fiverr or something.
Thanks
Nat
