    I have updated to 4.5 and am running the latest version of WordPress. After the update, my audio players are not displaying properly. Please see this page for reference: https://www.firstbaptistcleveland.org/first-baptist-online/sermons-online/

    Any ideas as to how I can fix this? Many thanks in advance.

    Hi Audica1,

    I did have a look, the playlist loads fine on my end and in a second it breaks, which means that something loads after and breaks it.

    Have you tried using Enfolds audio player?

    Thanks so much for your reply. I ran a waterfall test, but that provided little information, other than that the player isn’t loading properly.

    I disabled all plugins and the problem still exists.

    I switched to the twenty seventeen theme, and the player was fixed, indicating that it’s a theme problem after all.

    I use the Enfold audio player in other sites, but for this site, we need to use the standard player. Any additional information you can provide on why Enfold is breaking the player will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks for your ideas, but that didn’t really help. It appears that Enfold is just no longer compatible with the current version of the default WordPress audio player. This is happening on multiple websites for me.

    I cannot rebuild the audio players across all of my websites with the Enfold player- this is just unrealistic.

    Not being able to update WordPress or Enfold because of this bug is a security issue. PLEASE FIX IT!!!

    Any other ideas on how to get around the bug will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
