    Dear Kriesi Team,
I use Enfolds audio player on my site, but strangly it does not show on the frontend. Could you please help me finding out why and what to do? Thank you!
Second question: Can you only use mp3-files with your Audio player or also other formats, like wav?
    Best regards,
    Cornelie

    Hey CJGVD,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

The audio player element appears to be functioning correctly with MP3 and WAV files on our end. We are currently investigating why it’s not displaying on your site. Please update the theme to version 5.6.6 and temporarily disable the Enfold > Performance > File Compression settings. Let us know if this resolves the issue.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

Dear Ismael, thanks for your reply!

I have deactivated the file compression and updated the theme, but unfortunately this did not bring anything. I have included an extra audio player on top of the page (outside of a section), but this also stays unvisible on the frontend.

The corresponding HTML for all inserted audio players on that page looks like this:
    <div id=”av_player-2″ class=”av-player av-player-container av-lmht9iej-954d644b722b95f78a1a4b065c7f5c5a avia-playerstyle-classic av_player-2 avia-builder-el-11 el_after_av_textblock el_before_av_hr av-player-hide-playlist avia-playlist-hide-cover”><div class=”av-player-player-container”></div></div>
Perhaps that is of any help to you?

I will also arrange you a login.

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

We created a test page and the audio player is displaying correctly there. We added wav and mp3 files to the audio player. (see private field)

Have you tried resaving or re-exporting the mp3 files using audio softwares like Audacity?

    Best regards,
    Ismael

Thanks for your update! Good to see the difference.
For the wav-files I don’t know how they were created. These are from the client. They may be created using Audacity.
For the mp3-versions: I used online-audio-converter.com to get them to mp3, because I first thought it had to do with the wav-format.
Yes, it seems it has to do with the saving/export of the audio files. I added an audio player including my wav-file on your test site and it again does not show.

What can you suggest us to do? For example: How to create the audio files? Which programmes should best be used, which be avoided? Would another format, like mp4, be better?
Thanks for your help. Very much appreciated!

    Best regards, Cornelie

Small update: I have tried the audio player with the original audio file (see private field): the borders of the player are visible now, but nothing else… The original file is M4A. Are such files not supported?

The original audio files have been improved to remove background noise. I don’t know yet which software was used for that, I will come back to that later I hope.

    Thanks for your help,
    Cornelie

I have tried some other things, and now the audio player with M4A is showing and functioning! Don’t know if you did something in the background or it had to do with my browser cache or alike?

However, our improved files without noise etc. still don’t work. So it would be good to know from you how we best could create our audio files. Which programmes should best be used, which be avoided?

    Thnx and BR!

Me again with some new, positive info!

The original m4a audio files were edited with the program Ableton Live incl. several plugins to improve the sound quality.
The edited wav files (which did not work in your audio player) were now exported as mp3 files and tested by me on the website and these are functioning!
So we will prepare the final audio files in this way and hope that the former problems are solved now (although we still don’t undestand why the edited wav files did not work in your audio player).

    Hi,
Glad to hear that you have this sorted out, perhaps it was some encoding issue, shall we close this then?

    Best regards,
    Mike

Thanks for your reply, Mike. Yes, you can close this thread now. Have a nice day!
