I’m using the Arforms plugin in my Enfold theme. On pages where I’ve used the Advanced Editor, the page breaks, I get this error:

    Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, (Email address hidden if logged out) and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

As soon as I deactivate the plugin, the page works fine again. Any ideas how I can fix this? Obviously, I can go back through and change all of my pages to not use the advanced layout editor, but I thought I’d see if there is a workaround for this that I’m not aware of, or an easy way to copy the shortcodes from my Advanced Editor layout into the default editor.

Thanks in advance for the help.

    Hey jenvolz!

Turn on WordPress debugging and check your server error logs for any useful information.

    Cheers!

Turning on debugging to check it out is a little beyond my skill set. So, my solution is to just not use the Advanced Layout builder, even though I really like it and have used it on all of my pages.

However, that brings me to my next problem. Without Advanced layout builder turned on, is it possible to have an Advanced Layerslider span the whole width of the page at the top (above the main content area and sidebar). When I use the default editor, rather than the advanced layout builder, and I paste the shortcode for my Layerslider into the WYSIWYG area, it just displays within the content area next to the sidebar instead of stretching across the top like it does with the Advanced Layout editor.

I have a small slider across the top of every page of my website (differs on varying pages), and it looks much better with it there.

I did enable Avia Layout Builder debug so I could just copy and paste into the default editor with shortcodes, but the layerslider at the top issue makes it so that doesn’t work.

Am I missing something or is it only possible to have the Advanced Layer Slider span the whole page if Advanced Layout Builder is turned on?

Thank you for your quick responses.

    Hi!

See here for turning on WordPress debugging, http://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress.

For what your wanting to do you will need to use the layout builder. Have you considered finding a different plugin that does not break the layout builder?

    Cheers!
