    Hi, I’d like to have a widget area in the header so i can edit content within for the entire site once (see link for example of the content). Which is the best way? I have created a new custom widget (called header), istalled a plugin to get a visual editor in the widget to put inside html code of the grid row layout (see example). But result is messy. How can achieve it in the easier way? Is the another way to do this (my client wants edit content with visual editor to update easily his date course), Thanks. .

    Hey maryhellensegatta!

    I’m not sure what you mean by messy, it looks ok to me but might need a bit more CSS to look nice. Could you try to explain a bit further how you would like it to look and we could help you out with some custom CSS? Screenshots tend to help if you could provide us with some.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hey!

    What is the code that you use and what the expected layout? Please post the code on pastebin.com and the screenshot on imgur or dropbox. We would like to see what you’re trying to do. You can fix the layout via css but I’m not sure exactly what you’re aiming for.

    .widget_black_studio_tinymce {
      margin-top: 120px;
    }

    #top #header_main > .container {
      height: auto !important;
    }

    Cheers!

    it si possible to create a custom widget area in the main area to being displayed in every page (like sidebar)?

    Hey!

    Sure, you can go to Appearance > Widgets and create a widget area. You can add it to your pages using Widget Area element of Advanced Layout Builder or choose to display it on the sidebar under Layout section while you are editing your page.

    Sorry, i did not understand. I need a widget area in the main area, just after the header and i have to put it once as a widget in the sidebar (so my client can edit it once for entire website).

    How can make previous reply private to not show link?

    Hey!

    You can add Widget Area element under Content elements of Advanced Layout Builder to the top of your page and display your widget there.
    P.S.: I edited your post and moved the link to private content field

    Yigit, what i want to achieve is put the widget in every page once, not to edit each page to insert it . This area will contain date and time of course that changes frequently. Therefore i need an area like a widget in sidebar just after the header (at the beginning of main section). Is there a way to create this custom widget area?

    Any ideas?
