I get errors, but my error logs never change. Can anyone assist me before I go to my provider- they are terrible to work with.
It has been suggested that my .htaccess was an issue. It seems fine.
It has been suggested that my error logs should have errors, they don’t
I get 500 errors when visiting the following pages:- http://www.jordanspeech.com/wp-admin
- http://www.jordanspeech.com/wp-login when I get a correct OR incorrect version
If I could get a quick Yes/No as to whether these files are functioning normally. Honestly they seem fine but I’m having issues. My credentials are below. probably a 2-minute check. Pulling down my client’s website will take a very long time and the tickets system they use for support is worthy of ridicule.
Any assistance would be helpful. Thank you in advance

I tried to take a look, and while I could see the front end, I couldn’t login due to a server “500 error”
When I checked via ftp I didn’t find anything helpful, sorry, but I might be of more help if I could login to your admin account.Best regards,
MikeMay 6, 2019 at 1:06 am #1097527Thanks Mike,
My WP-admin account returns a 500 error. My error log are set to true, but don’t seem to be updated. I’ve upgraded to the latest wordpress and the latest enfold, turned off all plugins by deleting via FTP. I cannot access wp-admin, but don’t seem to be receiving any errors. Any thoughts?Thank you in advance, you’re awesome.

May 6, 2019 at 1:42 am #1097532Hi,
Though ftp I see that you are using Enfold v4.5.6, so my first recommendation would be to ensure you are using PHP v5.6 (+)
sometimes you can change this in your cPanel.
I would like to help more, but a “server 500” error really requires an in-depth look at server logs, yet I know you are having issues with this.
To answer your earlier question, WordPress puts out some error logs and your server puts out others. Enfold doesn’t interfere with these.
So, unfortunately, your webhost may be the best resource for this “server 500” error.Best regards,
MikeMay 6, 2019 at 9:41 pm #1097830The host provider did not have “detailed errors” turned on within cpanel. It said DetailedLocal errors. My bad!
So, finally got detailed errors turned on.
Trying to connect to wp-admin and wp-login pages result in the following errors:
PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Function name must be a string in D:\WWW\jordand\jordanspeech.com\wwwroot\wp-config.php:2

Thank you in advance!May 9, 2019 at 7:46 am #1098769Hi,
Thanks for the update.
It seems to be an error with the wp-config.php file. Did you modify that file recently? Please check line 2 of that file.
Best regards,
IsmaelMay 9, 2019 at 9:17 pm #1099060This file is unpacked directly from WordPress. There are no changes. Can I post that code here?
Is there something out of place?
May 11, 2019 at 4:24 am #1099463Hi,
Sorry for the late reply, I took a look at your “wp-config.php” and it seems to have encrypted lines at the top, I removed them and now your login can be reached, but we don’t seem to have the login, so please try to login.Best regards,
