Archive pages to match main blog page

Hi-
I created a blog landing page using a normal page, then using the advanced layout feature. I’ve hidden author pics with css.

I’d like my archive pages to match this. Is there a way to manipulate the archive template easily to do this? I’ve tried your other suggestions with putting the code in the function php, but since I’m using the non normal blog page, I’m guessing that’s why it won’t work.

I guess I could just create unique landing pages for each category landing page (which now uses the archive page) and then set it up just like my blog landing page, but only select the corresponding category to display?

Please let me know the best was possible.
