Hi guys,
I just updated a clients site to the latest version of wordpress. Since that happened the slider disappeared. I know the answer is to add the code in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/having-problems-after-updating-to-wordpress-4-5-please-read-this-first/ to the functions.php file in appearance-editor.
The problem is, the editor option is not there under appearance. I deactivated all the plugins to see if it would reappear and it did not.
Can someone please help? The site info is in private data.

Not sure why that is, did you make any changes to any of the WordPress files?

That can be an issue, with the hosting provider and what they do allow for editing.
