Hey Guys,
Not sure why but in my tables, on the mobile version, when there is an apostrophe, the html code is being displayed…
Thanks,
April 1, 2015 at 6:08 am #421754Hi Phet!
please us the html code for the apostrophe instead: http://character-code.com/punctuation-html-codes.php
Cheers!
AndyApril 1, 2015 at 3:15 pm #421935Hey Andy,
Thanks for the reply. Once I’ve inserted the HTML code ' or ' in the table and save the changes, it reverts back to the apostrophe symbole in the backend. So the problem doesn’t go away in the front end.
The weird thing is that I’m not getting the same issue on the desktop rendering. This appears only when going to a mobile screen size.
Any other suggestions?
Thanks,
April 3, 2015 at 4:43 pm #423156Hi!
Is Enfold updated to the latest version, 3.1.3? Make sure it’s updated and all plugins are deactivated while testing.
If that does not help then send us a WordPress login and we’ll take a look.

Enfold was already at the 3.1.3 version.
I’ve disabled all the plugins, and still, that did not solved the problem.

Where do we login at? The usual wp-admin and wp-login links are redirecting me to a different page.
Best regards,

Hmm, I added one to the auctions table and I see it happening. It’s not happening on my XAMPP setup though so that’s kind of confusing.
Let’s try the following.
1. Deactivate all plugins.
2. Completely delete Enfold from your WordPress theme directory before downloading + uploading a fresh copy from themeforest. You should be using version 3.1.4 after doing this.
Cheers!
ElliottApril 8, 2015 at 2:09 pm #425286Hey Elliott,
I deactivate all plugins and uploaded a fresh install of Enfold, but still the problem remains.
FYI, the copy I’ve downloaded from ThemeForest was 3.1.3 and not 3.1.4
Any other hypothesis?
Thanks,

Hmm, well I created a test page on your site and the apostrophes seem to be working fine in that page. Try creating a new page and copy your content over piece by piece to try and figure out where the problem is coming from.
Also try deleting the table and recreate it to see if that helps.
Cheers!
ElliottApril 24, 2015 at 3:11 pm #434153Hey Elliott,
Thanks for your help. For the record, I ended up creating a totally new page. Duplicating the page (with a duplication plug-in), then deleting the table and create a new one did not work. I had to create a new page, and insert my layout by hand. Now it’s working properly.
One thing that I should have tried is to create a template of the page, without the table in it, then apply the template to a new page… Oh well!
Have a good one!
