November 12, 2015 at 7:02 pm #535026When I place an apostrophe in the title of an icon box, it does not display properly. I’ve seen this in certain shortcodes before. How can this be resolved in Enfold theme so I can place an apostrophe in the icon box title? November 13, 2015 at 7:48 am #535254Hi robphat, Try replacing it with & acute; without a space between the & and a. http://www.ascii.cl/htmlcodes.htm Thanks,
RikardNovember 13, 2015 at 6:40 pm #535659Rikard That kind of works, but as you can see in the icon box at the top of the right sidebar on http://173.254.96.214/~vicautor/ , the apostrophe doesn’t really match the font, but more importantly, it seems to add a space between the apostrophe and the s after it. How can this be fixed in the icon box, or do I need to just not use the icon box for anything with an apostrophe in the title text? November 16, 2015 at 5:42 am #536286Hi, It looks to be the same font but maybe you should use another character? You can find most characters available in the link I posted previously. Regards,
RikardNovember 16, 2015 at 5:05 pm #536652Actually ´ is described on that page as acute accent – spacing acute So it appears it does indeed carry a space. I’ll try another character, but there is nothing on that page called “apostrophe”. November 17, 2015 at 8:54 am #537163Hi, I’m not a native english speaker and to be honest I don’t know what it’s called in english, but try googling for it, I think you should be able to find it then. Best regards,
RikardNovember 17, 2015 at 10:45 pm #537681Thanks. I found some alternatives, but like you said, I think it’s just the font that puts that extra space. November 18, 2015 at 9:43 am #537908
