Hi there,
A couple of issues, hoping you can assist …
1. I have been doing a lot of updates to my website and as always before making any changes I check for available updates to the Enfold Theme and it states it is up-to-date however upon further investigation, it is not.
2. Since I am not super savvy in making changes to php files, can you let me know how I go about updating the Theme?
3. I would have never noticed, since it says it’s up-to-date, however my buttons AND icons are NOT showing up and upon reading several threads, it says to update the Theme, this is how I learned it is NOT. —- Why would I not be getting the normal notification of “Theme Update Available”?I have included my website and log-in details in the private content, below.
Thanks so much, really appreciate any assistance!February 4, 2020 at 8:07 pm #1181503Hey Blanche,
Please download the https://envato.com/market-plugin/ plugin and see if the update shows up.
Best regards,
VictoriaFebruary 4, 2020 at 9:32 pm #1181549Hi Victoria,
THANK YOU! Yes, that did fix the update issue AND my buttons are now correct – that said, the icons in my footer are still not working/showing up – just square boxes. Using a “test” page I tried to recreate them and sadly, they are not showing up on my test page either … Any ideas on how to fix?
Thanks!

Thanks for the update. What happens if you clear the cache/minfication from your optimisation plugin? If that doesn’t help then please try to enable CORS: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/icon/#icons-are-showing-as-rectangular-boxes-

Thanks, I did clear all Cache and the icons are still not showing up … I clicked on the link above however I do not know how to do what the article suggests – is this something you can assist me with? I don’t know how to access/make changes to, the files the article refers to. Is there Quick CSS I can add instead? Thanks in advance for your help!

I added the log-in details.
Thank you!!February 11, 2020 at 1:43 pm #1183458Hi,
Thanks for that. I added the code to your .htaccess file but it didn’t change anything. What happens if you clear all the caches from your optimisation plugins and leave them deactivated? Also clear any server side cache which might be applying from WPengine.
Best regards,
