Hi,
my name is Alexandru. I am managing a website for a company and I have updated the PHP version. I managed to recover partial functionality of the website and I would like to reinstall the theme they use. Unfortunately, I am unable to access the theme settings to get the API key. No one knows how to connect to their account on themeforest and I would like to recover the key if possible. Where can I get it from? From the database, from one of the files from the theme?Thank you in advance.

You can refer to this post – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/#how-to-generate-a-envato-personal-token and generate a Personal Token and insert it in Enfold theme options to receive updates from WP dashboard. Envato has updated their API and we have implemented those changes in Enfold 4.5, therefore if your client is using an older version than 4.5, you would need to update the theme to the latest version manually – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-update/#update-via-ftp then insert Personal Token.
To have an access to theme files and generate a Personal Token, you would need to use ThemeForest account that was used when purchasing the theme.

Hi,
Please refer to this post – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-update/#update-via-ftp and update the theme via FTP. After updating the theme, you should be able to see Personal Token field in Enfold theme options > Theme Update.
As I mentioned earlier, Personal Token would not work on Enfold versions older than 4.5. Please update to 4.7.4 via FTP and then insert Personal Token and you should start receiving update notifications.
