Hi there,
I’m currently heavily using Enfold’s Portfolio items to create posts for my WordPress. However, I’ve found out that it is currently being very limited by its ability to “act” as a normal ‘blog-post’ item. Thus, one of the key abilities was that it wasn’t able to tap on WordPress’s Jetpack abilities nor my portfolio posts were being recognized by my IFTTT scripts to automate postings to my other accounts where necessary.
Thus, my key question is that how can my portfolio items be recognized as a normal ‘blog-post’ item, mainly to fully utilize the functionality of WordPress’s Jetpack’s Publicize? Is there some embedded code that can be activated as I have heavily embedded content under the portfolio layouts. Please do help me find a solution urgently. Thank you!

Robert Chai
Hi sgrobert!
WordPress very very clearly draws a line between custom post types and posts. With a very heavy hand its outline that a post should be used as a post and everything else is a completely different type of data within WordPress.
There may be a way to hack it but it would need to be done by a freelance developer for sure.

Devin
Hi Devin,
Thanks for the update. I guess I will look out for other solutions. Thanks.
