Hello Enfold Team,
I have run into incompatibility issues along with plugins that no longer offer support for our podcasts and was wondering if any of the Enfold demos have this type of functionality built in? We are a church and I noticed you had a church demo but wasn’t sure if that capability was built in or I still needed to download a podcast plugin. Series Engine would mess with the CSS and functionality of our site and Sermon Manager is under new ownership and their code has been scrambled enough to make this podcast part unusable.
We can play our sermons just fine at https://crossroadsabc.com/listen but when we pull them up on any ios device, the sermons will not download or stream on the device as if they weren’t on the server at all. This is strange because we have a sermon entitled: “Our Vision” on 3/12/2019 will playback on any laptop but also any mobile device. This sermon has been uploaded to our server (via FileZilla) the same way all the other sermons were but only this one will playback properly on iOS mobile devices. We have not tested on Android at this point but again, all sermons playback properly on laptops, both Mac and PC. I have established a feed that has been validated for our Podcast feed but when I submitted it to Apple it was rejected and we get an error: “Cannot download sermons from your feed”. I believe this is why we also can’t download them on our phones or even stream them for that matter which makes sense but also adds to my confusion because I can clearly see that the sermons are there and can be played back when I visit with a computer versus a mobile device. I am working with Sermon Manager and with our hosting provider which in turn have implied potential theme interference but I’m not sure if this is the case or not. Is someone willing to take a look at this for me in order to see if I’m missing something obvious?
Thank you very much for your time and support.
