Hi, I have a slider on my Home Page with an opt-in promo box under it. Is there any way to reduce the size of the slider so that the opt-in bar is above the fold? http://www.dominiquehurley.com/
Thank you,

I’m sorry but I’m not sure what you mean there. Take a screenshot and highlight exactly what your trying to do so we can get a better idea.
I don’t see the opt-in box your referring to either.
Cheers!
ElliottAugust 27, 2015 at 5:07 pm #494332Hi – sorry, my opt-in is one -click away. So, what people now see when they go to my site is this:

DominiqueAugust 28, 2015 at 9:18 am #494688Hi,
I think your best option would be to incorporate that whole section into your slider as a layer, otherwise it will be very difficult to set a height of the slider because of all the various screen sizes available.

RikardAugust 28, 2015 at 11:57 am #494773Hi Rickard. But that section isn’t just a visual. There are 2 linked images that act as buttons. Folks are asked to click on one button or the other to go to my opt-in form. Ideally, I wanted to create a very thin opt-in banner above the slider, but with 3 fields. Unfortunately, using MailChimps code in the text field creates a very thick opt-in form, like at the very bottom of my homepage at http://www.DominiqueHurley.com .
I’m looking for a way to get folks to sign-up to my newsletter above the fold on my homepage. I had purchased Popupally Pro which allows all sorts of customizations to their banner, but with my limited tech skills, I couldn’t get it to be responsive and thin enough and it caused problems with the theme. So I’m back to looking for solutions within the theme. Any advice?

You can replace the current full screen slider with the full width slider. This way, you’ll be able to set the height of the image and the slider.
