I have created several web sites from templates using Front Page and Expression web. These all came with dummy content and very good tutorials and videos on how to change and set everything up to what I wanted. I thought I would try a word press theme and picked Enfold. It was made to sound easy…drag and drop. I’ve downloaded the theme and the dummy content that comes with it, thinking it would be easier for a beginner with WP to work with. I’m completely lost. Are there any tutorials that show you how to edit this stuff? I can figure out how to add my own pics to the home page slider but there are no instructions on how to get the layers to slide in over the pic in the place you want it. Do I delete all the other dummy content and pages I don’t use, if so, what if I want to create a page that has a similar layout and function as the pages I deleted? This is all very different from what I have worked with before and I knew there would be a learning curve but I’m very disappointed in the apparent lack of instructions. Are there any, or do I have to post a new topic on this page for every question I have?
December 2, 2014 at 4:36 pm #361511Hi woodbridgeoffice!
You can find Enfold documentation here – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/
You can save templates you have created using Avia Layout Builder and load them on other pages http://i.imgur.com/pkv1y7C.jpg
If you have any other questions or issues, please feel free to post them here and we will gladly try to help you :)Cheers!

I am afraid yes.
Feel free to make a feature request here: https://kriesi.at/support/enfold-feature-requests/

AndyDecember 10, 2014 at 7:47 pm #366204Ok, still need a little more info. right now I’m not talking about saving pages I’ve created as templates. Being new to this, I’ve load all the content of the Enfold theme that you see when looking at it before purchase. There are multiple choices for which home page you want to use etc. This is going to be a very simple site but I would like to have somewhere, all those pages that I down loaded so in the future, if I want to switch to a different home page or image gallery etc., I’ll have it some where. So, is that what you are talking about, if so, I’m still unclear about how to do that. In the Avia layout builder there aren’t any instructions of what to do.
December 11, 2014 at 4:20 am #366441Hi,
I guess you are referring to the “Home v1, Home v2, etc” demo pages, you can have those saved as Drafts and used when needed.
Cheers!
