Hi – I’m wanting to add an e-commerce to my site. I’ll be selling physical goods like paintings but also non-physical goods like mp3 downloads or services.
Any recommendations of plugins to look at for a non-techy who has gotten used to the high standards of help/ service I’ve received here for my WP theme?
Thanks,

You can use WooCommerce.
Enfold is compatible with it and you will find great resources to build a really nice site.Let us know if you have any issue.

BasilisApril 12, 2017 at 10:27 pm #776948Thanks – I find their page overwhelming as I don’t where to start – if I want to add to a website that I’ve built with your theme, am I looking for a theme store or extension store? Do you have a tutorial on how to integrate them with yours? Thanks again.
April 13, 2017 at 6:09 pm #777420Hi dominiquehurley,
Here is a video on a quick start with WooCommerce. Their documentation is very good and might seem a bit overwhelming, but if you take a small step at a time, you’ll be able to build your store. There’s a huge community and a lot of articles, so any issue you might have, somebody already had before you and so there is a solution for it.
Have fun exploring!
If you need further assistance please let us know.

RikardApril 18, 2017 at 4:00 pm #779413Hi again – In your video at http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/quick-start-with-woocommerce/ (circa 2013), you say to download the WooCommerce plugin by WooThemes. I used the Search feature as you showed in the video, but can’t find one by WooThemes. There’s one with the same look as on the WooCommerce page by Automattic with lots of downloads. Is this the 2017 version?
I see I can also download via the WooCommerce website, but the steps seem more complicated with zip files and codes, etc.
What do you advise for this non-techy? Thanks.
April 18, 2017 at 4:03 pm #779421Hey!
WooCommerce was acquired by Automattic so this is the correct plugin – https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce/
You can also try using – http://www.wpeasycart.com/ which is compatible with Enfold :)
Cheers!
YigitApril 18, 2017 at 4:08 pm #779427Thanks Yigit – I’ve heard a lot about WooCommerce, but not about wpeasycart. Does it have a good track record? Is it better for non-techies like me? Do you have an Enfold tutorial video on that one too? I’d love to know the pros and cons of WC and this new one if you know of where I can read about that. Thanks.
April 18, 2017 at 8:39 pm #779637Hi,
It would be great if you contacted them here – http://www.wpeasycart.com/contact-information/ and asked directly. WooCommerce is way more popular, that is correct which also means you would be find resources easier using WooCommerce.
Unfortunately, we do not have tutorial for WP Easy Cart plugin :)Best regards,
