Hello,
I’ve read a lot of topics, followed the documentation about using the google API. But I’m really doing something wrong. On two different sites my maps aren’t working anymore and I don’t get them to work. Deleted key’s, accepted the new payment-method. Changed my credit card as I did get a new one. But it just doesn’t help. Does anyone have have some tips for me?
Regards,
Erwin

Please post admin login details to one of the sites in private so that we can have a closer look. Also please point out where you are trying to use the map.

December 14, 2018 at 5:28 am #1045121Hi,
Thanks for that, I see that you haven’t added an API key under Enfold->Google Services, could you start off by generating one and adding it there please? Also, I see that you have two versions of Enfold installed, could you delete the old one if you don’t need it anymore?

I’ve deleted the older version of Enfold an added the google-api-key. Could you have a look again please?

Erwin

Thanks for the update, though I still don’t see an API key added under Enfold->Google Services?

That’s strange. Tried to add it again, saved it and it’s there, refreshed the page and it’s disappeared. The key is in the private part, could you try it yourself to see what’s happening?

December 16, 2018 at 7:25 am #1045811Hi Erwin,
Thanks for that, I added the key and it seems to be adding fine on my end, though it still doesn’t seem to work. Could you try to disable your caching plugins and file compression under Enfold->Performance to see if that makes any difference?
Best regards,
RikardDecember 16, 2018 at 9:29 am #1045847Hi Rikard,
Thank you for looking at it, but when I look at the google service-tab, then there still isn’t a api-key. Did you refresh your page also?
Regards,
Erwin
December 16, 2018 at 10:43 am #1045858After de-activating some plugins, my whole site was down. Couldn’t get it online either, very strange. So I’ve installed a backup. Now I could add the api-code and got the maps working again.
Thanks for helping.Regards,
Erwin
