    Hello team Kriesi,

    1’st, I wanted to thank you for this really awesome theme. I really enjoy playing and mocking arround with all the features you provide.
    2’nd, I have this annoying update bug showing every time in the dashboard.
    My attempts to resolve this bug:
    – I checked all the plugins and updated all in the plugin board, then deactivated all. – results: Still showing the “1update available” message;
    – I updated wordpress core to the last version(4.9.4). – results: Still showing the “1update available” message;
    – The ENFOLD theme is up to date. In the Dashboard it still showing that I have 1 update.

    What can I do to deactivate this bug?

    ps. I made you an admin account and provided you with both login and password credentials.

    Thanks for the login details. Please try running this plugin in order to remove all transients: https://wordpress.org/plugins/transients-manager/

    Hi Zetrh,

    It’s the Layer Slider that comes with the theme. It has a new version and is a plugin and so the WordPress registers that a plugin needs an update.
    If you’re not using Layer Slider you can disable it. Here is how to do it:

    Deactivate the LayerSlider plugin

    If you are using it, you will need to wait for the Layer Slider update that will be included with one of the next Enfold updates.

    Yeah, well… the Layer slider deactivated it’s not quite an option. I use the Layer Slider. But you guys update layer slider with new update of ENFOLD theme, so i shoud just wait. Thanks :D

    Hi,

    I agree that things like this can be annoying, but it’s very difficult for us to keep up with all the LayerSlider updates unfortunately. We are trying to update once a week now though, so this should hopefully not happen all that often.

    Enfold 4.2.3 is now available on ThemeForest – kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/. We have included the latest version of LayerSlider :)
