Hi there
Is there any way to tell layer slider that I do NOT want to upgrade to premium? They keep “suggesting it” to me in really annoying banners. I have looked though their info, but is seems they only give the option of “upgrading”, not to “stay” with the free version which is included in the Enfold theme.March 22, 2017 at 7:28 pm #765004Hi metafora29!
We are sorry if that looks anoying, but that is part of their sales service
They also have some nice features for those who do use a license key for the service. We will be happy to help you with anything else, feel free to let us know
Best regards,
BasilisMarch 24, 2017 at 10:41 am #766033Thanks for the info. I have written them, because it ruins my preview experience entirely. When I view changes in my page there is now a big blue banner at the top of the page I cannot get rid of, unless I log out of the session and view the page without being logged in. I will keep complaining to them, because this is unacceptable.
March 24, 2017 at 10:49 am #766037This is what i have written to them. I intend to keep writing, as this is unacceptable for the clients of Enfold.
“…
Hello. I wrote yesterday and intend to do so every day until this issue is solved. I have the layerslider as part of the Enfold package and have used some very basic features in my sliders. I do not intend to upgrade to premium.
I would like to get rid of the annoying messages insting me to buy the product, but there is nowhere to say, “no thanks” and simply stay with the version I have.
Recently I created a new banner with exact same animation feature I have used until now and an ANNOYING blue banner shows when I preview the page. There seems no way to get rid of it, and it completely ruins my preview experience!
The banner says:
“Premium features is available for preview purposes only.
We’ve detected that you’re using premium features in this slider, but you have not yet activated your copy of LayerSlider. Premium features in your sliders will not be available for your visitors without activation. Click here to learn more.Only you and other administrators can see this to take appropriate actions if necessary.”
I have not used any premium features in my slider and it views perfectly when I am logged out. Please remove this banner or let me know what I can do about it.

Thanks for sharing that, could you keep us updated if they get back to you with a way to hide the message?
Best regards,
RikardMarch 27, 2017 at 10:23 am #767298Hi, In the end i imported another slider and simply replaced it.
March 27, 2017 at 10:26 am #767299Hi!
We are sorry for that.
In any case, you can always use a license of LayerSlider to get what you need and move forward with the resultsLet us know if we can do anything else regarding our theme
