    Hi, I set my animated countdown on a fresh WP installation and its gives me back a way off date. For example I have set the date to countdown to 16th September 2016 and it starts counting down from 214 days. It should only be 9 days away from today (7th September 2016).

    I have looked through other threads but can’t seem to find a fix. I have tried manually typing in the date instead of choosing from the date picker.

    Please help…

    Have found the problem… Was dealing with the same issues…

    The date picker is the problem, when you pick a date it says: 1 oktober 2016 > replace that with 01/10/2016 and it works again.

    Worked for me.

    Inserting the date manually as following
    30/12/2016
    or
    12/30/2016
    should work
