BerndOctober 20, 2019 at 8:06 pm #1149651Hi,
Sorry for the late reply and thanks for the login, I see that your theme is up to date and your page was reporting an error with the plugin “Easy Google fonts” which had not fonts selected so I disabled to resolve the error, even though there are no errors now your event countdown is not working. I exported your events to my localhost and created a page with the event countdown using your same settings and it works for me.
I suspect that a plugin is causing the error or an error occurred during your last update, assuming the countdown worked before the update, how did you update? I see that you have a plugin “Easy Updates Manager” did you use this?
I checked the events_countdown.php file and it matches mine.
I recommend disabling your plugins to see if that solves it and if not please include FTP access in the Private Content area so we can try updating your theme with a fresh version.Best regards,
MikeOctober 20, 2019 at 9:23 pm #1149661Hello Mike,

FTP is in private contentBest regards
BerndOctober 22, 2019 at 11:33 am #1150122Hi,
Thank you for the login, I also tried testing a fresh theme and disabling your plugins without success, I also checked for any similar issues but found none after the latest update. As I wrote above testing with your events export on my site works, so I will ask our team to take a look and advise.
Did this stop working after only the update, which version were you using?Best regards,
MikeOctober 22, 2019 at 12:51 pm #1150163Hello Mike
I updated from the version before this one and it did not work after that update.
Thank you for support
BerndOctober 23, 2019 at 12:38 pm #1150488Hi,
I temporarily installed versions 4.6 & 4.5.5 and the event countdown worked with neither of them on your site, do you recall what was the version number that did work for you?
I see that you have a “drop-in” plugin called “Erweitertes Caching-Plugin” these are typically installed by the webhost, in your webhost panel do you have a cache clearing option?
I have switched your site back to v4.6.3.1 for now. It might be a little while before another member of the team can offer some advice, thanks for your patience.Best regards,
MikeOctober 23, 2019 at 7:07 pm #1150583Hi
what are you doing there? I dont want an outdated theme version! I updated to the last Enfold version and deleted the old ones.
I only have WP Super Cache, no hosting solution.
Thank you
BerndOctober 24, 2019 at 10:27 am #1150809Hi,
Yes I know you want the updated version, I was testing if the Event countdown element would work with the old version to isolate the issue, but unfortunately, it didn’t work. I then switched back to the new version.
Do you have a backup of your site when the countdown worked?
If you look on your Plugins page and click the link at the top that says “Drop-in” you will see the added plugin, this is typically a webhost caching plugin.

MikeOctober 24, 2019 at 11:05 am #1150832Hi,
the “Drop-In” belongs to the plugin WP-SuperCache. I have installed this on many other sites.
Best regards

BerndDecember 24, 2019 at 7:05 pm #1168960Hi Bernd,
The widget was moved to the paid version of the events calendar plugin and so it is not really working.
https://support.theeventscalendar.com/663608-Configuring-the-Events-Countdown-WidgetI am running 4.6.4 on my end and it worked. You can try the beta on your end or wait till the new version release in early January.
Happy Holidays!
Best regards,
