I am using anchors on my front page. When I first set them up they seemed to be working perfectly. The next day they were not. They began to not point to the right section and were behaving inconsistently. I noticed that all of the anchor menu links were highlighted in the socket when on the front page, not just the link that had been selected (I’m not sure if that’s how it’s supposed to be).
Please help me fix this problem. Thanks.

I’m not seeing any issues when viewing the site now. Maybe it was a plugin conflict or a plugin setting conflict or even just a fluke. If you are still getting the issue(s) could you tell us in what browser, its version your OS version and if possible screenshots as well.
Cheers!

January 8, 2014 at 12:43 am #206536Ok, thanks. I didn’t realize that there was a theme update. With my other themes, I usually get a notice in WordPress, but I have received one for Enfield. How can I receive notifications of updates in the future?
January 8, 2014 at 4:45 am #206638Even after the update and clearing my cache, the anchors still are not working properly…especially when navigating from the Donate and About Us pages. It works properly when selecting Get Involved, but not Our Cause.
January 10, 2014 at 6:13 am #207817I think what you are seeing is something that we’ve not been able to find a fix for.
When navigating to an anchor from another page the anchor is at the top of the screen. On the same page, the theme’s script for smooth scrolling is able to stop the browser from doing that.
I tried a few solutions for other users but so far I’ve not been able to find anything that prevents the browser from putting the anchor where it wants it.
January 10, 2014 at 7:15 am #207834Devin, thanks for the honest answer. Is this a problem that you will continue to try to find a solution for, or am I just out of luck for now?
