Tagged: anchor link
Hello,
I’m wanting to link an image to a specific part of another page on the site, and would very much appreciate your help to remedy it.
So far I’ve tried adding a Code Block above a text element and gallery, with “<div id=”my-anchor”></div>”
On the Home page I’ve added “#my-anchor” as an image custom link [within Porches > Masonry Gallery > final image] but after saving and testing, the anchor link does nothing. Can you help with this please?
Login credentials supplied below.
Many thanks,
Graham
Hey Graham,
Thanks for the login details. I can see the image linking to an anchor, but I can’t see the actual anchor on the same page. Where did you add it?
Best regards,
Rikard
Hello Rikard,
Thank you for looking into this for, and your response.
Sorry for not being clear about where the actual anchor is!
It’s on a different page, named “Porches”, within the bottom Masonry Gallery in the section “Pitched Roof Porches”.
Hope this helps!
Many thanks,
Graham
Hi Graham,
Thanks for that. I saw that you had only included the anchor as the link, you will have to add the whole URL if the anchor is on another page. Please see example in private. I changed it for you and it’s now going to the anchor on the porch page.
Best regards,
Rikard
Hello again Rikard,
Many thanks for helping with this, I’m pleased to have got it working now :) Simple when you know how ;)
FYI I had tried reading through many forum messages but not seen this clarified until now :)
You can close this ticket please.
Keep well,
Graham
