Tagged: anchor links
Hello at Kriesi,
at https://www.nagelstudiowinterhude.de/ the anchor links to the IDs on the same page (like https://www.nagelstudiowinterhude.de/#google-bewertungen ) are not working. Can you help?
– From a sub-page like https://www.nagelstudiowinterhude.de/reservierung/ the links are working.
– I have tried deativating all plugins
Best Regards
Hey Sigmund,
I’m not sure why the link is not working, but I do see a JavaScript error in the browser console. Deactivating plugins and any custom code you might have added would be the first step in debugging the problem, if that doesn’t change anything then please try to activate the parent theme if you are running a child theme. You could also try to add the anchor to an empty div above the section in question, for example in a text block element:
<div="your-id"></div>
Best regards,
Rikard
Hello Rikard,
thanks for coming in.
– Deactivating plugins does not help.
– Empty div does not help.
– Activating parent theme does help. But in the child theme directory there is no custom code in the functions.php or style.css. What am I missing?
Thanks and best Regards
Hi,
Thanks for the update. I’m seeing the error message in private on the front page, what is causing that or where it’s coming from I can’t say unfortunately.
Best regards,
Rikard
Hi,
I have found the solution. The anchor links are working when using a fixed header.
I dont know why this is the case. But you can close the topic, if you like.
Thanks.
Best regards
