I was happy to have found a fix to a problem I was seeing with my anchor links not working in safari at the bottom of this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/anchor-text-not-working-on-ios/, being about the url of the menu link not having ‘www’ in the address. easy! I was not able to get it working though. The page is at: andesworldtravel.com/nature-culture. The andesworldtravel.com primary domain is pointing to the site at http://andes-world-travel.flywheelsites.com/. you can see the anchor links in the menu as COLOMBIA ECU PERU BOLIVIA. The first 2 links have www in the url and work on chrome but not safari.
It looks like even in chrome that the page is reloading instead of scrolling up and down, due perhaps to the redirect? How can I set it so it doesn’t reload?
How can I set the menu links to work in safari – and when the site launches, will I have to change the links in the menu? Also – is it possible to edit the menu links in the menu admin or do I have to make a new link every time? My menu is pretty big and it’s hard to move everything around one by one.
thanks for your help!

you can go to: andesworldtravel.com/nature-cultureI have updated the anchor links in the menu (the country names) but it still looks like the page is reloading instead of scrolling. Perhaps due to the redirect? Is there a way to not have the page reload?
thanks

To avoid the refreshing links should be like this:

I thought I needed the full url in the custom menu links?
The naming of the anchors themselves is #colombia-climb, #bolivia-climb, etc. but I need more than that in the menu links, don’t I? http://imgur.com/0uC5UeL. Is it possible to edit those links in the menu once I make them?
thanks

June 16, 2015 at 11:48 am #459977Hi!
You mean after setting it as a Mega Menu? you’d need to uncheck that on the parent for a moment, change the link and check it again, like – http://i.imgur.com/kX5jdiu.png
