Hi Team,
I’m having an anchor issue.
I have made several anchors on my landing page which works fine if i’m on the original page, but as soon as I go to another page and click the anchor links in my header they auto scroll back to the top of the page.See the gif below, the example is of the Profit anchor.
Thanks

I am not sure that I understand your question, so, do you want to avoid that the link back to top again?
Best regards,

If you test the anchors, or watch the gif the anchors do not sit. They shoot back up to the top of the screen
That’s exactly what I’d like to avoid
May 8, 2017 at 3:10 pm #789650Hi!
Have you tried deactivating all the plugins and reactivating them one by one to see if one of them is causing it?
Also, may we have login access into your Dashboard so we can take a closer look?
Best regards,
SarahSeptember 24, 2018 at 3:48 pm #1013674Hi support,
I think I have a similar problem with anchors than the one of this thread : I have 2 pages with anchors in each. Each anchor is referred to through menus.
When I click on link to anchors located in my home page, it works fine.
When I click on link to anchors located in the other page, it displays properly but after a few seconds, it scrolls back to the to of the page.
I have no plugin activated.
I tried to activate / deactivate page preloading and page transition : no change. Thanks for your help !
September 25, 2018 at 4:41 am #1013963Hi,
Thanks for the description of the problem. Did you try to disable all functionality under Enfold->Performance to see if that helps? If not then please post admin login details in private so that we can have a closer look.
Best regards,
RikardSeptember 25, 2018 at 11:13 am #1014134Same problem when disabling perf features.
BTW : in my home page, clicking on sub menus of the same page reloads the entire page whereas it scrolls to anchor on the other… Definitely not the same behaviour with same settings for links.
Thanks for your investigationSeptember 25, 2018 at 3:20 pm #1014228Hi support,
I figured out what happens; this is my fault : I just used an iframe without checking its content in the page where links with anchors are not working. Now I’ve figured out that there was onload=”window.scroll(0, this.offsetTop)” in the iframe code…
In addition, I also worked out the problem of page reloading when clicking anchors in my home page : the link in the menu should refer to the site url and not the home page url ! (in my case, it should be https://papaga.yo.fr/bulles-solidaires/#actions and not https://papaga.yo.fr/bulles-solidaires/accueil/#actions).
Hopefully it can help other people.
Sorry for disturbingSeptember 25, 2018 at 4:22 pm #1014266Hi fchretien,
