Hi,
We are testing Enfold AMP compatibility/support with the “AMP Plugin For WordPress”
In a previous thread I found that you mention: “AMP for WordPress works perfectly with Enfold. https://ampforwp.com/”
https://kriesi.at/support/topic/support-for-amp-pages/Please have a look at the Enfold demo data page, which renders completely broken in /amp/
Thanks.
April 13, 2018 at 10:33 pm #941683Hey spectodesign,
That is the WordPress plugin, correct?
or the 3rd party plugin?Best regards,
BasilisApril 13, 2018 at 10:42 pm #941692It is the WordPress plugin “AMP for WP – Accelerated Mobile Pages”, not “AMP for WordPress” by Automattic.
Thanks.April 14, 2018 at 3:45 pm #941952Hi spectodesign,
Enfold is not yet optimized to work with AMP, unfortunately. This is something on our todo list.
Best regards,

I see. What is the timeline for Enfold AMP optimization? Thanks.
April 14, 2018 at 7:31 pm #942022AMP should not be used yet, unless you have content similar to the likes of Wikipedia, New York Times, Reddit, etc. Otherwise, you are doing more harm than good.
April 17, 2018 at 4:19 am #942885Hi,
Our developers are currently separating the builder elements’ scripts and stylesheets in preparation for the AMP integration. There’s no ETA yet but it will be implemented on the theme in the future.
Best regards,

September 28, 2018 at 8:59 am #1015636Hi,
AMP has technical limitations by design which will probably never allow us to fully support it. Personally I had good results with https://wordpress.org/plugins/accelerated-mobile-pages/ however not all elements are fully supported. If you want to be sure your pages look good with AMP create simple pages with the default wordpress editor (with standard html tags and css formatting) and do not use too many shortcodes.
Best regards,
PeterSeptember 28, 2018 at 10:07 am #1015670I think I’ve already tried this plugin. If I’m not mistaken, you can create from scratch an AMP page for each existing page. I think it has its own builder with paid extensions.
If Enfold is not going to be able to support AMP in the future, maybe it would be interesting to create a blog post explaining alternative options, like this plugin, don’t you think?
Thank you for the response.
Best regards
Sergio

PeterNovember 21, 2019 at 2:17 am #1158673how is amp for wordpress working today with enfold?
What is the recommendations?November 22, 2019 at 9:52 am #1159037Hi,
@lech07: It hasn’t been implemented in the theme as of now because of the same reasons mentioned above, so you have to rely on the output of third party plugins like the one previously suggested. Please feel free to open a new thread if you have new inquiries. We’ll close this thread for now.Best regards,
