Hi,
I am trying to set up 2 Layout elements: one Main Style, the second like Alternate Content Area.
I can see it in: “general styling”
When I am on “Page” I see Layout Elements with varoius width and “Color Section” without width options. I cannot insert “color Section into “Layout Element”My page is http://www.at-connect.pl
Thank you
TZDecember 16, 2014 at 5:32 pm #369013Hey tomek_z!
I’m sorry but I’m not sure I understand. It sounds like your wanting to create different colored sections such as a main content area and a sidebar. In this case you will want to use the grid row element. It lets you change the background of all the cells inside.
If that’s not correct then take a screenshot and highlight what your trying to do so we can get a better idea.

Try using an image hosting service such as imgur.com.

We can’t see the preview because we don’t have the login details. Please post a screenshot of what you’re trying to do. Use the Grid Row element if you want to create two blocks or cells with different background or style.
Cheers!

Please turn on custom CSS field for ALB elements ( kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/turn-on-custom-css-field-for-all-alb-elements/ ) and then give your text block elements that you would like to display as alternate content a custom class and add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under General Styling tab
.avia_textblock.your-custom-class { background-color: #28343c; color: #e4e6f0; padding: 10px; }
Best regards,

You can use Alternate content on few elements such as Color Section and Grid Row. But you can achieve what you would like using the workaround i posted above. Please try it.

I did some progress, but it is not what I need. The squares are remote from each other. 4 boxe should touch with corners. (like it is in ColourArea1 pisture in my example)
padding works dor top, left, bottom and right) this causes that boxes are nor in line.It would be much better to have a choice to chose batween main and alternate styles for text block or better for layout elements
You get this effect presenting General Options in backend like on my attachment ColoursArea1 on http://www.at-connect.pl/coloured-columns/
Kind regards

do you mind creating us admin access, so we can check if you could implement correctly what Yigit said in this post: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/alternate-content-area-how-to-set-avia-layout-builder-to-12-or-else/#post-370389
?
Post it here as a private reply.Regards,
