Allow website visitors to filter images by category on web page.

I have lots of images on the page in the gallery and i need to have a filtering function to those images.

For Example, I have 200 images of homes
and visitor want to see only homes that are 2 stories, with pool, and in certain area

Will i be able to tag all my images somehow on a backend (single or 2 stories or condo / with pool or with a tab or without / area 1 or 2 or 3 …) ?
In this case on a frontend visitor can select a filter (sort of like on amazon shopping website) and will see only images that he/she wants instead of 200+
