Hi Enfold Support,
Can you help me send a specific tag to Mailchimp when the user subscribes?

Mailchimp now recommend using “tags” to segment your audience instead of building a lot of different audiences like they used to. Their free plan allows only 1 audience.

I’m using the Mailchimp Signup element that comes with the Enfold theme. I noticed that currently there’s no way to add another element to the form to send that tag, so I figured there’s a need for a shortcode or php code in the functions.php to accomplish this.

I’d greatly appreciate your help to send a tag :)

Hi Victoria,
I was excited to know that you were supposedly working on it for this new release.
All that excitement disappeared when I applied the new theme update and noticed Mailchimp Tags are still not supported and they also don’t appear in the upcoming fixes log.

It is added in the feature requests but it has not been implemented yet. We do not have an ETA as to when it’s going to be implemented.
