    Hi, I am using ‘Searchford‘ to manipulate the search results on my wordpress site to exclude a category from the search results, all is working perfectly but the ajax search in the header is picking up the posts still. I have had a search around the forum and have found similar issues which have been solved for the ‘search-wp’ plugin but nothing for Searchford.

    any ideas?

    Sorry for the late reply. I’m not familiar with that plugin unfortunately. Please send us a temporary admin login so that we can have a closer look. You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply. You might want to contact the plugin authors as well to see if they have a fix.

    Hi, I have just decided to turn off the Ajax for this issue – problem is now, I am using a child theme and copying the js folder plus the avia.js doesnt work – I have had to hack the parent theme file – how can I change the child theme for this?
