I can’t seem to get the ajax portfolio feature to pull up anything but a “big image, thumbnail below” layout. I’m trying to get this portfolio item layout — http://barsocchini.com/beta2/portfolio-item/3021-rambla-pacifico-press/ — to show up via an ajax portfolio here: http://barsocchini.com/beta2/press/ But, the ajax view only seems to want to show a “big image, thumbnail below” layout, Any clues on this one?

They look the same except for the portfolio title showing on the latter page. What is the “big image, thumbnail below” layout? It is not available on the portfolio options.
Best regards,
IsmaelOctober 19, 2013 at 4:56 am #177702When I click on one of the ajax portfolio grid items on http://barsocchini.com/beta2/press/ — 302 Rambla Pacifico Press, for example — I see this — https://www.evernote.com/shard/s320/sh/4d7994f1-33cc-493a-afa2-2d2f186bb9d0/91eeeb06953bbc910c41eb78e457c7bb — the “Big image with thumbnails below” gallery layout, with only one image. Shouldn’t the ajax reveal the actual layout of the 3021 Rambla Pacifico Press portfolio item: http://barsocchini.com/beta2/portfolio-item/3021-rambla-pacifico-press/ which is three images across?

No, the ajax portfolio view only has a single layout which is completely separate from any layout you may have in the visual editor/advance layout editor set above (on the single portfolio item).

DevinOctober 19, 2013 at 5:53 am #177731But, doesn’t the Ajax portfolio in the Demo show several different kinds of layouts? http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/portfolio/portfolio-ajax/
October 20, 2013 at 9:08 am #178025Hi!
Yes but these layouts just depend on the gallery layout option: http://www.clipular.com/c?5165993374515200=qwo9NxwVTuduxR8hyamWoZ2k4Vk&f=.png
If you want to build a custom layout use the “Don’t display images at all” and then you can use the text editor (underneath the gallery images) and the column shortcodes, etc. to build a custom layout.Regards,
PeterOctober 20, 2013 at 10:43 am #178038Ahh, perfect — that’s what I was looking for. Sorry, I was looking for those settings, but I convinced myself I’d seen them in a different theme :\ Anyway, thanks!!!
For anyone else, these are the “Additional Portfolio Settings” found below the editing window on the portfolio items pages. If you don’t see them, make sure that Screen Options box is checked.
