Hi,
first, my site isn’t yet online so I hope the screenshot will explain well, what I mean.
I use the Ajax Portfolio and the newest ENFOLD 3.0.1 with WP 4.0.When I open a portfolio item from a 3 column portfolio grid with the Ajax function, then the height of this is not expanded to the current size of the preview image. In my example, the image is 700x700px, but – I don’t know why – it is cut to a height of 562 px.
The uploaded image:This … don’t know how to call it in English … Ajax popup expands only then to a bigger height, when there is more text on the right.
Another test:
- – added more text to the right
- although there is enought possibility for a higher image, it is still cut to a height of 562 px (original: 700x700px square format)
I would like to have it open in its original size of 700x700px in the Ajax single view of this item or in other words: the image should not be cut to any size, but the Ajax popup should expand its height dynamically according to the image or the text height.
Where can I change this please?
Thanks.October 7, 2014 at 9:03 pm #331893Hi!
Install this plugin then go to Settings > Media and change the “gallery” image size (increase it), finally regenerate the thumbnails by clicking the button at the bottom.

These images have different orientations (landscape format, square format, portrait format, depending on the motif) and therefor there is not “common” image size/height possible. The problem is, that the dynamically change of this Ajax portfolio “popup window” obviously work only well, if the (Ajax portfolio) preview image is a landscape format.
But square format images and portrait format images area) cut (the images themselves) and
b) the dynamically popup don’t adapt its size to the height of the (portrait format) imageOctober 8, 2014 at 7:48 pm #332653Hi,
Can you post the link to the website please?

JosueOctober 8, 2014 at 9:06 pm #332710As stated before, my website is not ready and can’t go online. Have you tested the Ajax portfolio feature at Kriesi’s demo with portrait format preview image? Then you probably can reproduce this behaviour at my installation. Thanks.

Please go to Settings > Media, look for the Gallery thumbnail size then set the crop parameter to No. Adjust the width and height to 9999. This will somehow distort some of the images. The better solution is to crop your images to landscape mode before uploading them.
Best regards,
