Hi,
On multi-page portfolio pages there are the arrows prev and next which reload the page.
When the page reloads, it obviously displays the top of the page and the user needs to scroll down and search for the portfolio section which can be a problem for many.Is there a way the portfolio pages can open without the page reloading?
Thank you
January 6, 2015 at 5:33 pm #375742Hi sitesme!
I’m sorry but I’m not really sure I understand. Are you using our AJAX portfolio? Can you send us a link to your page so we can get a better idea of what’s going on?
Best regards,
ElliottJanuary 7, 2015 at 4:46 pm #376247Hi Elliott,
I am using your Portfolio, yes, but all I am asking is in respect to the pagination of the portfolio items.
As an example: http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/portfolio/portfolio-2-column/
This page has two pages, we would like the second page to open in ajax (i.e. without reloading the page to the top), or as an alternative, having a “load more” button below to load the next set of X logos. This is in line to give a better user experience.
We have a long page with text and the portfolio at the bottom of this page.
Every time the user clicks on a new page, he/she needs to scroll all the way down to continue seeing the portfolio items. Many thanks.
January 7, 2015 at 11:20 pm #376528Hi!
The load more button would be possible. Instead of using the portfolio grid shortcode use a masonry shortcode and have it display your portfolio posts in the “Which Entries?” option.
You can then set the pagination to use a load more button.
Cheers!

I thought I saw the load more button somewhere in a portfolio page. You just reminded me that is only in masonry – thank you for this.
However… is there a way to have a similar effect in the other portfolio styles? Basically… replacing the page numbers (i.e. reloading page issue) by the load more solution (ajax loading new portfolio entries – the ideal solution).Thank you
January 8, 2015 at 9:01 pm #377080Hey!
There is no feature for that currently. You can use the Masonry to get it to look like the portfolio entries though.
Feel free to request this feature here, https://kriesi.at/support/enfold-feature-requests/, and we may see something get added in a future update.
Cheers!
