It shows 120 Pages with broken javascript on one tab, then the other tab shows 240 links to broken javascript.
They all seem to follow this pattern:
404

404

I’m not sure where these errors live. In the theme and how it handles javascript? In a plugin? etc. THe “avia” is what has me starting here.
Any ideas?

Hey gatehealing,
The first script is generated dynamically, so the signature at the end of the file will be different each time. That means it’s looking for a file which does not exist anymore. The second script is in a static location though, and it works when I click the link.
Best regards,
Rikard
Hmmm. I cannot figure out why ahrefs is showing the second one as 404 then. My concern is seo . . . I have a major drop in serps that I am trying to diagnose (google) … no manual actions, no penalties (ever), design is good, speed is great, header tags correct, etc. etc.
It’s weird, there are a couple of 502’s and 520’s that work fine when I click them, yet they show up as errors too (I seem to remember those are usually related to the linked site’s server though).
While I don’t think 404’s generally hurt this, I am concerned that the sheer volume of them could. . .
I think we can close this for now, i’ll pop back if I hear something about it.
