It shows 120 Pages with broken javascript on one tab, then the other tab shows 240 links to broken javascript.
They all seem to follow this pattern:
404

404
https://gatehealing.com/wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery-migrate.min.js?ver=3.4.1I’m not sure where these errors live. In the theme and how it handles javascript? In a plugin? etc. THe “avia” is what has me starting here.
Any ideas?
JonFebruary 28, 2024 at 11:15 am #1435716Hey gatehealing,
The first script is generated dynamically, so the signature at the end of the file will be different each time. That means it’s looking for a file which does not exist anymore. The second script is in a static location though, and it works when I click the link.
Best regards,
RikardFebruary 28, 2024 at 5:56 pm #1435779Hmmm. I cannot figure out why ahrefs is showing the second one as 404 then. My concern is seo . . . I have a major drop in serps that I am trying to diagnose (google) … no manual actions, no penalties (ever), design is good, speed is great, header tags correct, etc. etc.
It’s weird, there are a couple of 502’s and 520’s that work fine when I click them, yet they show up as errors too (I seem to remember those are usually related to the linked site’s server though).
While I don’t think 404’s generally hurt this, I am concerned that the sheer volume of them could. . .
I think we can close this for now, i’ll pop back if I hear something about it.
