Hi Enfold-team,
Enfold has been running smootly for several years now.
But after the latest update, several image files don’t show any more, background files for main content & footer, also some smaller images in the sidebars. In the backend (theme options, general styling) everything looks the same as before, with the images included.
What happened and what can I do?
Thank you in advance.Kind regards

Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look?

May 2, 2018 at 4:29 am #949791Hi Anja,
I think there is some kind of conflict due to the new performance features in Enfold. Did you try to clear the cache from your caching plugin to see if that helps? If not then try to leave it deactivated or try to deactivate the theme performance options to see the problem is coming from there.

RikardMay 2, 2018 at 10:37 pm #950342Hi Rikard,
thank you. That worked. I disabled and enabled all the new performance options one after another.
It seems that “CSS file merging and compression” being enabled breaks my background images.“Javascript file merging and compression” and “Disabling of template builder elements” work fine.
Strange. But I’m glad my images are back :-)

Great, glad you got the images back and sorry for the problem. Please let us know if you should need any further help on the topic or if we can close it.

RikardMay 4, 2018 at 10:59 am #951517Hi Rikard,
thank you. I wondered if I will be able to use all of the performance features in the future. Will there be a fix?And I also realized that some images from the sidebar disappeared. Best visible on the start page https://welt-der-vorfahren.de in the right sidebar at the bottom. For some graphics now only the “alt” text is visible (for example the “Blogger Relations” image. What happened?
Thanks in advance, I really love the theme

On every new version we create, we try take in consideration all the updates and issues users have.
Saying that, most probably on the next or the one after update, you will be able to check all those problems and see if they are all fixed. We appreciate your patience and understanding on how hard our developers work.

The rest of the performance enhancements seem fine for now.
