    Hi Folks,

    after updating Enfold to 4.4 the site is broken! First I got a blank page, after deleting Enfold + Enfold child theme via ftp and uploading the latest theme I get “Error occurred: 500 – internal server error”.

    No modifications to the original Enfold and child theme (code) have been done. All worked well and now … :-(

    No solutions or recommendations here have worked for me.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated. :-)

    Edit: there is no error 500 with the standard twenty seventeen theme and there are no plugins installed.

    Hi Harald,

    Sorry for the problems. What version of PHP are you running on the site? It needs to be 5.6 or higher. Please post FTP login details in private if you should need any further help.

    Hi Rikard,

    yep, it happened because of an old php (5.3.3). Switched to 7+ and it works fine again.
