Hello,
I made enfold update yesterday and now my site text, which is in bold changes, when site is loading.
Before the load its not bold and when the site gets loaded, it changes into bold, how can I fix this?
November 14, 2016 at 9:43 am #711836Hi pimroll!
I’m not sure what happened, and I see the same problem as you have described. When I check on page source, they are wrapped in , can you remove it in the backend? and check if the issue still persists.
Best regards,
NikkoNovember 14, 2016 at 10:08 am #711848Hello Nikko,
What do you mean by wrap in?
And can you please check it yourself?:)
November 14, 2016 at 10:36 am #711851Hi!
After re-reading the issue, I think I misunderstood it before. Can you try to deactivate and uninstall WP Super cache as instructed here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-super-cache/other_notes/ to make sure that no cache files remains which most of the times causes weird issuess. If the issue still persists try to deactivate all plugins and check, let us know if it’s fixed after doing these procedures.
Cheers!
NikkoNovember 15, 2016 at 10:13 am #712378Hello Nikko,
I deactivated and deleted the WP Super cache but then I realised, that it is not the problem (since I downloaded
W3 Total Cache and activated it and everything was working)The problem seems to be sumome plugin, when I turn it on, the text goes bold like it was before, do you know, how can I make this work with sumome and do you have had problems with it befire, since I like the plugin and would like to very much use it.
Please see it for yourself, log in and activate/deactivate the sumome and you can see, that this plugin is the problem.
(NB: it was working before I made the enfold update).Best Regards,
November 15, 2016 at 10:15 am #712379If you have problems signing in use igognito because for some reason the system thinks that I am still logged in with clef.
November 16, 2016 at 4:53 pm #713032Hi!
I just checked your site (using icognito), and it seems to be working well and I can’t see the issue before, even with the sumome plugin activated, is it also fixed on your end?
Cheers!
NikkoNovember 17, 2016 at 5:05 pm #713651Hello Nikko,
Unfortunately it still shows the without bold and when it loads it goes to bold, when I activate the sumome plugin.
In the mobile it is fine.

November 18, 2016 at 9:53 pm #714189Hello Nikko,
I tried to hard set and delete the cache and everything but I am still seeing the changes of the bold text, what am I doing wrong if you say, that it is fine from your side?
Thanks.
November 21, 2016 at 2:58 pm #714828Hi!
Can you try to check it with other device? something like a different laptop? just to make sure nothing is cached. Also if you are example using chrome primarily, try to use firefox just clear everything in firefox then test the page. Let us know if the issue still persists in it.
Cheers!
NikkoNovember 22, 2016 at 6:27 am #715117Hello Nikko,
I have tried it with 2 desktop computers and with newly installed firefox and the effect is the same, text goes into bold every time I activate the sumome plugin.
November 22, 2016 at 9:07 am #715157Hi!
The last time I checked sumome was still activated, is it still activated now? I tried logging in with the details but doesn’t seem to work now, can you create a temporary admin account? so we can activate/deactivate the plugin when testing.
Cheers!
NikkoNovember 22, 2016 at 3:38 pm #715358Hello Nikko,
The credentsials below should work, like before.
And yes the sumome is active right now and the error occurs to me in chrome and in firefox.
Please let me know, if you cannot log in.
November 24, 2016 at 1:11 pm #716392Hi!
I still couldn’t login with the login details given and didn’t have any issues that was appearing before, try clearing your browser (I also cleared the cache on my end), try also refreshing the page with ctrl + f5.
Regards,
NikkoNovember 24, 2016 at 2:45 pm #716429Hello Nikko,
It is ok because I have deactivated the sumome to be able to work with my site without the text being bold all the time.
I deactivated the Clef plugin but I did not think that was the problem why you could not log in. I have made you a new account, try to log in with that one and remeber to activate the sumome also before you see the problem.
Thanks.
November 25, 2016 at 9:56 am #716738Hi!
I have replaced this code in your Quick CSS:
b, strong { font-weight: 700; }
to this one:
b, strong { font-weight: 600; }
Seems to be working fine now after activating sumome, let us know if this is good on your end also. :)

NikkoNovember 25, 2016 at 10:31 am #716745Hello Nikko,
Thanks, looks good from my desktop and mobile view, what was the problem? current font weight was displayed somehow differently in the new updated Enfold theme?
Thanks.
November 25, 2016 at 10:50 am #716751Hi!
I’m not really sure as this is the first time I encountered it, it seems like having sumome causes some delay in rendering css that’s why we see that shift.
Cheers!
NikkoNovember 25, 2016 at 11:08 am #716756Hello Nikko,
The same problem is also with the header “Phone Number or small info text” section, which is behaving the same way as the titles that changed bold.
Can you please help me to fix this too.
Thanks.
