I’ve just upgraded wordpress to 5.0.2 and the theme (enfold) from 4.1… to the latest, 4.5.2

I opend the frontpage and I saw a strange block editor with only code of the elements I have on the front page and a new way to add blocks. At the bottom I saw the old Builder I know.

Making a new page only gives me this new “block editor” instead of my known editor of Enfold?

Cna anybody explain what goes wrong here or is this the new Enfold editor?

    Hi rogierkoning,

What you’re seeing is the new WP block editor called ‘Gutenberg’, a lot has been complaining with it causing issues.
To use the good old classic editor we used, go to Enfold > Theme Options > Select Your Editor > Use WP Classic Editor and save.
That should disable gutenberg and bring back the classic editor.
Let us know if this helps.

    Best regards,
    Nikko
