Hi,
On our site independentauthorsfourm.org the advanced layout editor, while working on existing pages is not available for new pages.
Curiously the setting for reading had defaulted to home page recent posts instead of a set page which I switched back not sure why that happened either. I tried reinstalling the theme, Turing off plugins, and adding to the config file: define( ‘CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS’, false );
No help, could you take a look ? thanks.
Hi tonyiatridis,
I tried to access your site using the credentials you gave however it returns: ERROR: Incorrect username or password., please check.
In Settings > Reading, please set Your homepage displays to Your latest posts
Then in Enfold > Theme Options > Frontpage Settings set it to the page you want to use as the homepage.
Best regards,
Nikko
resending login creds, must have been a cut and paste error, idk.
Thans so much.
Hi tonyiatridis,
I apologize for the delayed response.
I have checked your site and it seems to be showing the homepage properly now.
Best regards,
Nikko
There’s nothing wrong with the homepage. That was not an important issue, the issue is the advanced layout editor wasn’t working right on any new pages or posts. Curiously if I save a page as a draft first it then becomes available. I’m pretty certain in the past though when making a new page or post I could access the advanced layout editor without first saving the page. Do you ave to save it first to get to the editor now?
Hi tonyiatridis,
I see, thanks for providing that information and I apologize for misunderstanding.
The problem you mentioned is caused by the Classic Editor plugin (plugin conflict) with our theme, to fix it, I deactivated the plugin and go to Enfold > Theme Options > Select Your Editor and set it to Use WP Classic Editor.
Please review your site.
Best regards,
Nikko
Nikko,
Awesome, thanks for the tweak. Case closed.
Hi tonyiatridis,

Thanks for using Enfold and have a great day!
