    Hello, the Advance Layout Editor is not working for Pages or post. I have updated WP as well as Theme, not sure what else to do.

    Have your tried to disable all active plugins to see if the issue resolves?

    i did it didnt fix the isuue..so reenabled it as some plugins are essential…for now i have disabled again, you may take a look if u want…issue still persists

    Hi,

    Thanks for the feedback. I checked your site and I get the same problem on my end, it seems like you are getting 403 (forbidden) error on a lot of WordPress resources. Why that is I can’t say unfortunately. Could you try contacting your hosting provider to see if they know why the server is responding with 403 errors please?

    Hello,
    I just spoke to my hosting support and reviewed all permissions and they are R/W/E similar to the other installation in my another domain with enfold, where Advanced Layout is working fine.
    In case there was any over sight by hosting support, Can you please let me know what resources/files specific to Enfold, needs to be checked for permission issues.

    Thank you Rikard, your log directed me in right direction towards fixing the issue.
    Just so you know, it was due to the change in permission to my WP-Includes sub folders and some file, that this problem occurred. My hosting support said, it was due to some files in those locations being flagged during their occasional heuristic scans. They had removed the execute permission, and hence the problem.
    I did complete malware scan of the directory and thereafter enabled execute permissions for those location and the Layout editor started working normally, haven’t faced any issue since then.

    Will reachout if any additional help needed. Thank you ‘again’ for the prompt support and directions.
