Trying to edit the page titled “Journalism Program” on my site on the back end, and no matter what I do, the Advanced Layout Editor window just constantly looks like it is loading. This happens on any computer I try, and it is only happening to this one page.

What do I need to do to get this page working again so I can edit it?

    Hey ChristineGerman,

Thanks for the login details and sorry for the problem. Could you try to enable debug mode in order to see builder shortcodes, then copy the shortcodes to a new page to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/intro-to-advanced-layout-builder/#debug-mode

    Best regards,

So I’ve enabled that mode. Hasn’t helped…it’s not showing any errors. I’m also not able to copy the shortcode to a new page. An error keeps showing up that says
    “403Forbidden
Access forbidden to the requested page:
    bcitnews.com/wp-admin/post.php (port 80)”

I really need this page working again, it needs to be edited. Can you help us get this sorted out? I needed changes to be made last week.

Ok now a copy worked, but the same thing is occurring. the editor just continually shows that it’s loading. Never loads.

Alright I’ve finally determined what is going on, still not able to find a solution. The problem piece is the fullwidth easy slider. Everything works fine until I try to put in captions on the images. Any captions added in that slider cause the whole editing window to no longer work. This was not the case before, everything on that page worked just fine for several months. I’ve pulled the slider I built and replaced it with a new one of just images, but I do want captions.

What can I do to get this all working again?

    Hi,

Thanks for the update, though the Fullwidth Easy Slider looks to have captions for all the images. Did you manage to get it working?

    Best regards,

Those are not captions displaying, they are titles. I was able to get those working after a lot of finicky trial and error. But still when a caption is added, the whole thing stops displaying on the back end, and the only way to get it back is going backwards to the previous revision.

    Hi,

Thanks for the clarification. I added text to all the captions and it seems to have worked fine both on the back- and front-end. Are you adding markup or special characters to the text when this problem happens?

    Best regards,
    Rikard
