    Good day, when I set up the site I was able to use Special Headings and Icon Boxes – Then suddenly I was unable to edit the Special Headings and Icon Box’s. The edit box loads and then goes blank. All my Buttons also deactivated and I was unable to go in and edit to change it.

    There was no added Plugins, No Change in Settings. The only thing I am thinking is that WordPress updated to a new version on the 15th of April and maybe this is causing an issue?

    I dont do this professionally, I am just helping out a friend with a theme a bought a while back – but surely its a lifetime license?

    Any help on this matter would be appreciated.

    Hi, unfortunately, this issue started before there was a single plugin installed. But to ensure I covered my bases and I tested it, I have deactivated all plugins and the problem remains.

    I have also done things like clearing Cache, increasing memory to 128 on the web server. Everything that has been recommended in other Forum suggestions. And no change.

    At one point, I started from scratch fully uninstalling wordpress from the host and reinstalling, not using a back up but starting from the beginning and it ran smoothly until quite literally it suddenly stopped loading the edit window.

    Hi,

    Thanks for that. Your server is returning a 500 internal server error on the WordPress file in private, please share server error logs with us. There are also Javascript errors while editing pages, but they don’t seem to be theme related.


    @jmail37     Please open a new thread and include WordPress admin login details in private, so that we can have a closer look at your site.

    I see the same as the comment above – I have tried changing the fonts back to “default” in case it was a font issue. I changed from Block Editor to Classic Editor, No change, and went back to Block Editor, still no change.

    Each time, the edit window opens, gets the loading circle then just goes blank.

    I’ve tried logging in on a different device, and using different browsers as well.
