I have downloaded the ENFOLD theme last week and apparently my Advanced Layout Editor is not responding when I click on it also the Visual Editor disappeared. I have research this issue in the forum and have tried many of the solutions such as: deactivate all plugins, increased memory via the Host company, reinstalled the theme twice, delete all the pages etc.. but to no avail. Furthermore on the screen options the Advanced Layout Editor check box cannot be updated, whenever I check the box and update – it reverts back to uncheck. I am at a lost for options, the only thing I noticed that the Editor works is the Post page only. Please let me know what I need to do since I cannot proceed in building my site, thanks.

June 28, 2015 at 1:34 pm #465531Hey!
There’s an error on one core WordPress file:
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Internal Server Error) http://website.org/wp-includes/js/tinymce/wp-tinymce.php?c=1&ver=4109-20150505
Have you tried re-installing WordPress?
Cheers!
JosueJuly 2, 2015 at 9:19 pm #467766URGENT: I can’t edit pages or posts, and only see a spinning circle. After an hour on the phone with the host, WP Engine, they said it looks like a theme issue.
When is Inspect Element in Chrome, I see this error on the Console tab:

Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Internal Server Error)The theme is up to date. Thank you!
July 3, 2015 at 12:36 am #467790And I know it really doesn’t matter, but I am a fairly loyal customer who has purchased six licenses! :)
July 3, 2015 at 12:57 am #467791Bluehost has also told me there is a theme issue going on – I’ve convinced about 20 clients to use your theme – but a site I am trying to work on rright now – this is all I’ve been able to do at this point (and it took me 4 hours just to load the wordpress import a 1.2mb file) and load the enfold settings, i get ‘cannot save at this time’ then i get blank pages, have to refresh 6, 7, 8 times before the pages come back (in the dashboard or on the site itself, the two plugins that are present aren’t even enabled (akismet and wordpress importer (only needed the importer to import the pages, posts that I am bringing in from another site). This is VERY VERY frustrating. I’ve loaded a Studiopress genesis theme and the site works fine, I’ve loaded the dreaded 2015 theme and it works fine, spent 3 hours on the phone with bluehost today thinking maybe it was something to do with the hosting (before I tried other themes cause I’ve NEVER had an issue with enfold before) and they are the ones that found there has to be an issue with the theme…

layout editor I get errors, I’m not sure what happened between the last update and this one but somethins simply is broken. – I think I own 2 licenses myself – and as I said I’ve convinced at least 20 clients to purchase this theme. this really needs fixing asap. I’ve got three clients who are going to launch in the next week who are pretty anal about keeping their updates up to date…. if I tell them not to update they are going to be concerned.
July 3, 2015 at 1:10 am #467794Hey!
@karenleighburton, I’m getting this when trying to access your website’s Dashboard:<!-- SHTML Wrapper - 500 Server Error -->
@misterwoodman, can you hand us an admin account in a private reply? have you tried re-installing WordPress?Best regards,
JosueJuly 3, 2015 at 1:21 am #467795ha! you’re not the only one who gets that – keep trying – you’ll eventually get in – this is literally a brand new install on a brand new url – I had it installed on a subdomain on another url and was having issues so I thought maybe I did something wrong – so I bought a new domain, did a fresh wordpress install – and still getting these issues…. talked to bluehost for almost 2-3 hours today… the site works fine if I put it back to the 2015 theme.
July 3, 2015 at 6:12 am #467822Hi, Josue. I’m adding you as an admin to the chaseflooring.com website.
