Tagged: advanced-layout-editor, ALE, Default Sidebar
I have followed this guide to add the Advanced Layout Editor(ALE) to my site. But… by default the POSTS show the PAGES sidebar.
When I write a new post and publish it without the ALE, the BLOG-sidebar shows up nicely. When I activate the ALE and publish, the blog-sidebar (leaving the ‘sidebar settings’ on default) does not show up, but instead it is showing the PAGES-sidebar. (and it does not show the share buttons or comments anymore, but I can add this in the page builder so that is fine…)
Is there a simple way how to fix that a posts is still seen as a post so by default it shows the correct sidebar? (instead of acting as a page )?
Hey Pixelbits!
The latest version of Enfold already has this implemented. Try completely deleting Enfold from your WordPress theme directory before downloading + uploading a fresh copy from themeforest.

After doing this you should be using the latest version, 3.1.3.
