Dear team,
I am using Enfold and geodirectory plugin for a website I am creating. I am now working on the homepage (http://testsite.melc-codobelc.ro/) , and just below the main slider, I would like to include 3 columns. In each of the column, I want to have 3 posts (manually selected) with image, title and link. These posts will be something like ”Recommeded events” etc. Could you please give me a hint to what elements I can use from the advanced layout editor?
The second question I have related to the blog page http://testsite.melc-codobelc.ro/editoriale/ There are several subcategories to the blog page. On the main page, I would like to have a slider with selected posts, and below I would like to have the posts displayed in the grid view. All fine by now, but if I select one blog subcategory from the main menu, the blog posts are displayed in full, one after another. I would like to have them displayed in the grid view. Could you please help?
Thanks a lot in advance!

Thank you for using Enfold.

There’s no element that enables you to select a specific post but you can add a unique category to the post then use the Blog Posts element. Select the unique category to fetch the post.
I would like to have them displayed in the grid view
Edit the blog posts element, set the Blog Style to Grid Layout.

So, I come back with my questions:
1. For the home page and the manually selected posts – please note these will not be regular posts from the blog page. These posts I want to add on the home page are custom posts types generated by geodirectory plugin. I have 2 custom posts types: places and events. I would like to have a section on the homepage where to add 3 or 4 recommendations from these custom posts types. What elements can I use from the advanced layout editor?
2. For the blog page: I have several subcategories. On the main blog page and also on the subcategory pages, I want to include a slide-show with some posts, and below the slide-show, I would like to have the blog posts arranged in the grid layout.
If I edit the blog page using the layour editor by adding a slide-show and the grid layout posts below, this is works only for the main blog page, but not for the subpages as well (on the subpages, the posts are showed in full, one after another, instead of slide-show+grid layout).3. How can I lower the size of the footer?
Thank you!
May 10, 2016 at 6:03 pm #630157Hi,
1.) It depends. I suggest to use a Grid Row element.
2.) About which subpages are you talking about? can you provide us precise links please? an example of what you want to show would help a lot.
3.) Use this code in Quick CSS field:
#footer .widget { font-size: 17px; }and adjust as needed.
Best regards,
